Running InsurancePro: After installing InsurancePro, you can run it by double clicking on the shortcut from the desktop, or you can click on the shortcut from the "Start" Menu in Windows.
Look for the following shortcut on your desktop:
After installing InsurancePro, before you can start using it properly, you need to setup the following information: ·

Starting InsurancePro for the first time: After Installing InsurancePro for the first time, it can be run with a sample database, so that you can thoroughly test all the different features of InsurancePro with a populated database. You can also choose to start with a blank database, and start entering your own Agency’s information actual information. It is easy to switch from a blank database to an empty one.
When you start the blank InsurancePro database for the first time, the Help Wizard comes up, and guides you through the process. Once you have followed the instructions given to you by the Help Wizard successfully, you are ready to use InsurancePro.
Login and Security Feature: InsurancePro has a built in security system that prevents your data from undesirable access. You can setup the program so that when it starts, it will ask for a User ID and a password. Until a correct combination of User ID and password is entered, the program will not allow anyone to use the program. You can assign a unique User ID and password for each one of your agents. Moreover, you can restrict which part of the program will be accessible to which user. Details about how to assign User IDs and passwords, and also about restricting user access, are explained in the “Agent Information” section.
NOTE: User ID is not case sensitive, but the password must be written exactly as it was assigned, taking care of capital and small letters.
You can also choose to disable user login, in which case, InsurancePro WILL NOT ask for a user ID or password at ANY terminal when starting. This will also disable any access restrictions, and anyone who starts InsurancePro will be able to review any Information. Disabling User login is highly non-recommended, but the feature is available in case you opt to do so. Details about how to enable or disable user login is provided in the “Agency Information” section.
IP Office Messenger: InsurancePro also has a built-in messaging system that your Agents/CSRs (InsurancePro Users) can use to communicate with each other and leave messages/memos for them. If you check mark "Start IP Office Messenger" when logging in to InsurancePro, the messaging system will start. For more information, please click here.
