Holding Producers Accountable
Your producers work every day to sell policies, but the quotes that they give prospective clients don’t always turn into revenues for your agency. It is important that you monitor your producers’ results in order to hold them accountable and give mentoring where it is needed because a successful producer is a happy and profitable producer.

Policy Bound Button
We have added another way to mark a policy as bound from within TurboRater before you bridge to a company. This addition was developed to provide a smoother workflow for your agents. If you know you are going to write the policy before you bridge to a specific company, simply mark the policy as bound in TurboRater. There are now two ways to mark a policy bound. You can do it from the policy screen when starting the quote, or in the bridge selection box right before you start the bridge process. This new feature will save you time, you will no longer have to go back into TurboRater, after you write the policy, to mark it as bound. How do I use the policy bound feature?
Single Screen Entry
We have released a Single Screen Entry feature in the states of Illinois, Missouri, Texas, and Virginia. This feature is designed to save you time and generally speed up the work flow you use to enter a quote. Single Screen Entry combines all the tabs that are currently used in TurboRater to gather customer information into one localized, easy to use page. You will be able to move through this page quickly and efficiently. If you start a quote in Single Entry Mode, and then decide you like the regular screen mode more, you will not have to re-enter all the information in regular screen mode. Whatever information you enter in Single Entry Screen Mode is automatically copied to the fields in the regular screen entry mode, and vice versa. How do I activate Single Screen Entry?
Restrict Access to TurboRater
If you have concerns about employees accessing TurboRater outside of your office, you can now lay them to rest. We have added the ability to restrict access to TurboRater by computer IP address. A computer IP address (Internet Protocol Address) is a numerical label assigned to each computer participating in a given network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. To easily find out what your computers IP Address is you can use www.whatismyip.com and it will display your IP Address on the screen; or you can call your Internet Service Provider and they will supply you with the information. Keep in mind that each computer will need to have a static IP Address, one that never changes. Being able to restrict TurboRater Access by IP Address ensures that only the specified computers will have access to TurboRater. How do I restrict TurboRater Access?
Homeowner's Comparative Rater Update
Our Homeowner's Rater has been developed and we are currently working diligently to add companies to the program. Insurance Technologies Corporation will offer the Homeowner’s Comparative Rater to all current TurboRater Web Edition Customers at no cost. If you are still using our desktop rater be sure to upgrade to The Web Edition to take advantage of this fantastic offer.
