Back to Top Credit Scoring
Do I have to order Credit Scores for my companies? No, you can disable this option as needed.
Back to TopDo I have to have an internet connection to order credit scores? Yes. Some internet providers may require you to log on to the Internet beforehand. It will completely depend on your provider.
Back to TopHow many hits will my Insured receive on their Credit Report? This will depend on how many companies we are ordering Credit Scores for and how many agents the insured is calling that are working with companies that do credit scoring. However, your insured will not experience any additional hits using TurboRater than you would ordering the scores from each company, individually.
Back to TopHow does the Credit Scoring process through TurboRater really work? After you have entered all the risk information to Order Credit Scores, you will connect to ITC’s TurboLink Network via your Internet connection. Once you have connected to our network, ITC will establish a connection with the various credit providers or individual company’s network to retrieve the Credit Scores. Once all the Scores have been brought back, we will send them back to your Comparative Rater, updating each company’s rates based on the Credit Scores.
Back to TopWhich companies am I ordering credit scores through? ITC is willing to work with any company that requires Credit Scoring for rating. If you are writing through a company that is currently ordering Credit Scores for rating purposes, please notify your Company Marketing Representative and make them aware of our Credit Scoring capabilities so that we may begin ordering for them too.
Back to TopHow do I get setup to order credit scores through my companies? You will need to contact ITC and the carriers you wish to obtain credit scores from. Once you have done this you can setup your companies with the TurboRater product.
Back to TopHow long will it take to retrieve the Credit Scores through TurboRater? After entering the quote information, the credit scoring process will take approximately ten to fifteen seconds. It will depend on your Internet Provider, your connection speed, and how much traffic is on-line at the time of ordering the credit score.
Back to Top Real Time Rating
What do I need to receive from a company to use real time rating? To obtain a Real-Time Rating quote, you would enter the quote information just as you would for any quote. In addition, there may be additional questions specific for that company that you must answer after the vehicle screen. To ensure that you get a rate from a Real-Time Rating company you will need your Producer Code, User ID, and Password.
Back to Top Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs)
What is the cost to pull MVRs? The price of an MVR is dictated in large part by the state. For pricing and availability in your state, please contact an ITC sales representative.
Back to TopHow does it work? When you order an MVR through an ITC product, we retrieve MVR information from the state over the Internet. The violations are automatically entered into your TurboRater product, allowing you to apply it directly to the quote. We also give you the capability to view a printer-friendly copy of the MVR with your Internet browser, where you can look at and print the actual MVR returned by the state.
Back to TopWhat states is the MVR service available in? MVR ordering is currently available only in certain states. If you would like to see this capability in another state, please contact a sales representative.
Back to TopHow do I pay for the MVRs? You will make an initial deposit into your MVR account. Each time you order an MVR, the agreed upon charge for each MVR will be deducted from your account balance. Once the account balance reaches $0, it will be necessary to make another payment in order to continue MVR services. You may make payments at any time to increase your account balance.
Back to TopCan I get it in a Point of Sale solution? MVR capability is very flexible, and is available throughout all TurboRater products. However, it is currently supported only in the state of Texas. Please contact a sales representative to add MVR to your POS product in Texas, or to request MVR capability in another state.
Back to TopCan I print an MVR? Yes, when you order an MVR, the actual MVR report is saved on the Internet for a period of 60 days. This MVR is then accessible from your TurboRater product. When you view the MVR from TurboRater , it is opened up in your default Web Browser. You can then print this polished looking MVR from your Web browser.
